At Mumta Wellness, our focus is to support women through all stages of life but especially through the various stages of motherhood.
Dr. Nadia Sarwar helps women learn to manage their anxieties and overwhelm so that they can reach their fullest potential at any stage of life. Mothers will learn to better handle the stressors of parenting so that they can create stability for their children.
They say "it takes a village". Through her experience as a pediatrician and as a mother, Dr. Sarwar realized how isolated mothers can feel in today's society. She dreamt of creating a community for women supporting women. Mumta Wellness was born of that dream.

​The word “mumta”, derived from Hindi, means maternal love. For Dr. Nadia Sarwar, this word evokes the deep and abiding love a mother feels for her child.

Nadia Sarwar, MD, FAAP
In her 20+ years of experience as a pediatrician, Dr. Sarwar came to realize the role stress and anxiety played in so many conditions. She became passionate about mental health and studied various modalities before finding Clinical Hypnosis.
For the last few years, Dr. Sarwar has devoted her career to counseling kids and their families and teaching them how to use hypnosis to help themselves feel better. She has completed training and is now a faculty member at the National Pediatric Hypnosis Training Institute (NPHTI).
Healing Through Clinical Hypnosis
Clinical hypnosis is different from “stage hypnosis”. Clinical hypnosis is a mind body technique -
it is a state of deep inward focus with an aim to promote relaxation and healing.
Hypnosis, when taught by a trained medical professional, can empower you to better manage
your thoughts and emotions and ultimately lead to profound inward shifts.
